I'm thinking something like this: https://imgur.com/a/7PsMx3K (Illustrator has these sliders, whereas Affinity has click buttons, for Krita, there might be an input box with a pixel offset value to increase/ decrease the size relative to the default). P.S. I think such a setting could be useful, in the future, for Vector handles/ assistant handles, but that's outside the scope of this bug report.
