            Bug ID: 458349
Summary: Removable devices are remembered by /dev/sdX paths,
which with a larger number of devices change.
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.25.4
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_deviceautomounter
          Assignee: tdfisc...@kde.org
          Reporter: sadileki...@gmail.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

This behavior is quite problematic when using multiple drives.

For example I've got a single large drive I like to always have ready and
mounted. I then get into trouble if my remembered drive was on /dev/sda, is
absent, and then I try to insert a sdcard. The sdcard is quickly mounted as if
it was the large drive (since it occupies the /dev/sda path), worse, sometimes
I really prefer to mount them manually as read only when data recovering.

I would wish for a way to maybe just simply have the option to supply a custom
device path. Then I could just copy paste the /dev/disk/by-uuid/*****
corresponding path.
