If we would to maintain 7.x later 7.8.0, we need to ask a i18n branching by translator teams. I think master code is ready to be published as beta, even if ffmpeg 5 is not yet finalized (ffmpeg 4 support work like a charm). We can release 7.8.0 in September for ex.
