Bug ID: 457902 Summary: Proxy ignored when attempting to download new stuff in KDE System Settings Product: systemsettings Version: 5.25.4 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_proxy Assignee: konq-b...@kde.org Reporter: q64...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I use a proxy to connect to the Internet. KDE allows me to input it in the system settings app. Funnily enough KDE System Settings ("systemsettings") does not use proxy for downloading components such as themes. OBSERVED RESULT Gives me error "Unknown Open Collaboration Service API error. (0)" , doesn't load any results when opening the dialogs for installing new icons, themes, SDDM login screens. EXPECTED RESULT Should allow me to browse for new stuff. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian Bookworm KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.4 This is not a duplicate of 447281 as Discover and other KDE apps follow the proxy. It's just the System Settings app itself that does not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
