SUMMARY
***
As you can see in the screenshot, I have two konsole windows open.
However, the panel icon doesn't have a "+" circle at the bottom as it usually
does to indicate that there are more than one windows of that application open.

(I'm assuming that the thing at the bottom of the screen is called the "Panel".
If it's not (actually, either way), improve the component descriptions in this
form)
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open several windows of the same application
2. look at the application's panel icon at the bottom of the screen

EXPECTED RESULT
You should be able to tell whether you have only one window or more than one
open of that application.
Normally you can tell because, when there's more than one, the icon has a green
circle with a "+" sign at the bottom.

OBSERVED RESULT
Most of the time it behaves correctly, but right now I have two konsole windows
open and yet the panel icon shows only one.
