Can't reproduce on Wayland either. This error message isn't great though, as it
doesn't tell the user what went wrong or howgive them any clues as to how they
can fix it. We'll need to improve that, but first, we need to figure out what
went wrong.

Does it work if you choose a different barcode type? You can do so using the
little settings button on the QR code page.
