            Bug ID: 456387
Summary: Microphone sensitivity is regularly pushed to 100%
           Product: plasma-pa
           Version: 5.25.2
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: serkon...@pm.me
                CC: m...@ratijas.tk, now...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When my microphone is in used, I normally have the sensitivity between 10% and
20% to limit side noise.
However regularly the sensitivity reacts to background noise and pushes itself
to 100% inflicting ear pain to to people I'm talking with.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start an app that uses the mic.
2. Set sensitivity low.
3. Wait for background noises to push it at 100%.

OBSERVED RESULT

EXPECTED RESULT
Systems setting to toggle automatic sensitivity changes, so I can prevent this
behaviour if wanted.
