Thank you for your quick reply. BTW, I forgot to mention that one of kwin effect called "Thumbnail Aside" got affected by this too. Unfortunately, this feature happens to be one of my favorite to use when I'm doing screen recording or to watch youtube in a small thumbnail aside other tasks. I'm not 100% sure if these two are related to each other but it started around the same time. FYI, I set the "keep window thumbnails" setting to "Always" so it's been working great whether window is minimized or unminized up until last kde version (5.24). I really hope these features will be fixed and come back soon. That said, I've been really impressed by 5.25.1 other than these issues so far.
