In Ark (I'm on 22.04.2), the entire line is clickable (and highlighted), but only the name is draggable, which is inconsistent in the described sense of space belonging to a specific object. Following my suggestion, only the Name column should be clickable & draggable. And to indicate that, only that column should be highlighted (rule: highlight the area that "belongs" to the item). Downside: we loose the visual accentuation of the rest of the row. Thanks to the alternating background colours in Dolphin's details view I'd find this acceptable (there is also the suggestion of different highlighting styles/colours).
