Bug ID: 455214 Summary: Label data points with text from text column Product: LabPlot2 Version: 2.7.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: alexander.se...@web.de Reporter: tanjatroesc...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 149662 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=149662&action=edit Label data points with text from text column Hi, it would be very nice if it would be possible to label data points with text from text column (like it is possible in Excel). In the attachment you could see a screenshot of my example. One curve of my plot is "Events", and for every data points of "Events" I have a text column with the name "Notizen" which gives more information for that data point. Now I want to show the text of the text column "Notizen" for every data point of the curve "Events". But this is not possible, because I can not select a text column (it is only possible to select a numeric column like "WAG" in my example). I think it would be very useful if for the labeling of data points also text columns like "Notizen" in my case could be selected.
