I'll focus on Kontact since that's actually part of KDE, but I'll mention Calibre at the end as a further example. With the Kmail part of of Kontact, I drag emails into folders. Seemed to happen roughly every 2nd time. I drag the email to the folder and the box that says "Move here", "Copy here ", and "Cancel" will sometimes appear where it should - next to the folder I'm dragging the email into. Other times it would appear at some random place within the Kontact window. With Calibre (ebook management software) under the edit book dialog, if I'm adding authors, it has a little thing that appears below with suggestions of authors already in the database.
