Bug ID: 454776 Summary: Wishlist: let one control the file index start value and increment Product: Skanlite Version: 22.04.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kare.s...@iki.fi Reporter: sergio.calleg...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Skanlite offers the possibility to name files automatically, including an index as in scan_####.png where #### is a number. With the first save, it is possible to select the initial value. This is good, but IMHO it could be improved. Scenario: you have a non-duplex scanner and you want to scan multipage documents printed on both sides of the paper. Suppose you have 4 pages printed on both sides. You would like to set the initial index to something (say 0101) for the first scan, with a +2 increment, to scan all the odd pages, then you would like to turn the pages, re-feed then in the ADF, set the initial index to the correct value (0108) and the increment to -2, so that you can now scan the even pages and have the resulting files nicely ordered. The venerable `xsane` lets you do this, so skanlite should be no less ;-) What do you think? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
