SUMMARY
When moving applets/widgets in the panel, it starts lagging (animation is very
slow and everything else freezes) like there is a sleep method is executed in
the main thread.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Move a widget outside the plasma panel.
2. Reopen edit mode.
3. Try putting the same widget back into the panel.
OBSERVED RESULT
System freezes, lags.
