No, it doesn't. It wasn't clear from the report so I didn't pay much attention to hover. However, in previous version I cut off the hover highlight: https://invent.kde.org/utilities/ark/-/merge_requests/115#note_447960 It doesn't look in-style with recent selection highlights though as I tend to keep full-row selection.
