Oh! I had no idea I had to enable it (I didn't have to do in the desktop PC)
and it's... kind of baffling that it's considered a beta thing since it took
such a centre stage at the announcement of the latest version.
But it totally worked, sorry for the bug report, I'm attempting to mark it as
"resolved" and "not a bug" here in the tracker
