--- Comment #147 from hasez...@gmail.com --- (In reply to Claus-Justus Heine from comment #144) > Still the bug is not fixed. Here I have Gentoo > > Alll this was not happening until around start of January this year. This is > why I do not believe that this is still the same issue as it was back in > 2015 when this bug-report was created. i can also confirm this on my systems, the original issue (black desktop and unresponsive desktop) were fixed for me by upgrading from kde 5.23 to 5.24 and first happened in ~5.20, but since 5.24, after unlocking the display again makes black bars appear, sometimes covering just a bit and sometimes covering the whole display and sometimes also flickering, also for me clicking or bringing a window on the screen where the black bars / flickering happen stops it (but if its just half a display, like for example 2 windows side-by-side, then just clicking one of these windows will not fix the other window and the other window has to also be clicked) my system: Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.17.1-3-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX Vega my setup: 1 hdmi display (left) 1080p display 1 displayport display (middle) 1440p display (primary) 1 displayport display (right) 1080p display also in my case the black bars / flickering happen rarely on the primary display and the issue is more often when the output has been put to sleep and gets reactivated again (note: i do not mean hibernate/sleep, i mean that output has been put to sleep "Screen Energy Saving") -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
