            Bug ID: 452522
Summary: Display changes to low resolution when HDMI was
                    disconnected
           Product: kwin
           Version: git master
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: techxga...@outlook.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I disconnected the display by turning off my KVM switch, and when I turned it
back on, KWin crashed, and the display changes to low resolution (I believe it
was 1024x768 because it was stretched out)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock the screen
2. Disconnect HDMI (in my case, either switch or turn off the KVM)

OBSERVED RESULT
* Resolution changes to something low and probably 1024x768 due to it being
stretched
* I believe KWin crashed because all of my windows appeared in multiple
activities

EXPECTED RESULT
* Windows shouldn't be appearing to all activities
* Display resolution should go back to what it was before display was
disconnected or properly detect the monitor's resolution and switch to it.
