That's a good idea regardless of what we do in KDE, and I'd encourage you to report it to https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues. In principle, the PRIME-connected external screen appearing after login shouldn't be a problem. Is that screen marked as "Primary" in System Settings > Display & Monitor > Display Configuration? If it's not, does the problem go away if you set it as the primary screen?
