STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch a plasma session. 2. Put a media player control widget on the task bar. 3. Play some music or video with some software that's compatible with the media player controls widget. 4. Switch to a different TTY. 5. Leave the computer inactive for a couple hours. 6. Return to the TTY that's running KDE plasma. 7. Play some media. OBSERVED RESULT Media player controls don't work anymore. EXPECTED RESULT Media player controls should keep working.
