            Bug ID: 451360
Summary: Kde connect's "remote input" should also implement a
                    more touchpad-like mode of operation
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: 1.10
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com
          Reporter: hqu...@outlook.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Remote input's operation varies from that which a touchpad user would expect.
For example, here is a comparison

- On kdeconnect pinch to zoom isnt available.

- Drag and drop:

-- on a touchpad, when you double tap and hold, its like you have the left
button held down, until you release your hand

-- on kde connect, when you double tap (or long press), its like you have the
left button held down, but you need to tap again to release. I guess this is
mode is really nice for people who arent familiar with a touchpad and/or have
accessibility issues

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect your phone and computer using kdeconnect
2. Use the remote input
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Touch inputs are not read as if using a touchpad

EXPECTED RESULT
Touch inputs are read as if using a touchpad
