I can confirm this in 5.0.2. All it takes is enabling the Airbrush option, and
lines stop appearing after the first line is made.

This also occurs in 4.4.7, but it does NOT occur in 4.2.5, as this regressive
behavior apparently starts occurring in 4.2.6.
