Bug ID: 450404 Summary: Highlighting text makes mouse pointer switch to default theme in some areas Product: okular Version: 21.08.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 146834 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=146834&action=edit okular_mouse_changes SUMMARY If I open a PDF in Okular and set some text as highlighted, then move the mouse over some empty corner, it will show the mouse cursor as the default breeze theme instead of what I have set as my mouse theme. Placing the mouse over the toolbars and similar makes it show with the correct theme, but as soon as it touches an empty corner, it will degrade to breeze. Attached is a video showing the behavior. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure a mouse theme other than the default breeze. 2. Open a PDF with okular. 3. Zoom it out so that there will be empty corners at the left and right sides. 4. Highlight some text with okular's functionality for that. 5. Try pointing the mouse at the side corners and at the toolbars, and see how the mouse pointer is rendered. OBSERVED RESULT Uses the default breeze theme when it is inside the empty sides. EXPECTED RESULT Should always use the theme that I have configured.
