SUMMARY
This bug is part of an ongoing effort to rethink the options available in
System Settings. The end goal is to consolidate some obscure options to make
Plasma feel simpler to use and improve the user experience. I was advised to
make individual bug reports with my suggestions. More details with all the

The new Overview effect offers a toggle to enable/disable blur. That option is
duplicated since the user can already disable blur by deactivating the blur
effect globally in the Effects KCM.
A user that doesn't like the effect most likely will want to disable it
everywhere anyway, and disabling it only in the overview effect doesn't bring
any benefits and only serves to create an inconsistent user experience.
