Bug ID: 450111 Summary: The system tray randomly covers plasmoids placed directly on the panel Product: plasmashell Version: 5.24.0 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: sephiroth...@hotmail.it Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 146646 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=146646&action=edit Screenshot of the issue SUMMARY Since updating to Plasma 5.24, I have found the panel to show up the system tray on top of plasmoids I have placed directly on the panel. This appears to happen randomly, but mostly after startup on my desktop computer. It also happens when I wake the computer from suspension. For the effect to disappear, I simply have to enter edit mode; the situation goes back to normal as soon as I do so. I haven't been able to find a method to reliably reproduce this when I start Plasma manually. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start Plasma with plasmoids placed directly on the panel OBSERVED RESULT The system tray overlaps the plasmoids. EXPECTED RESULT The system tray does not overlap the plasmoids. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: KDE neon KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
