When going to File - New tab, nothing happens. New window works, clone tab
works. Opening a new tab only works with keyboard shortcut.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on "File"
2. Click on "New tab"
3. The " >" symbol after "New tab" does not open extra options
4. No choice can be made, just clicking has no result
OBSERVED RESULT
No new tab opens.
Opening a new tab does work with keyboard shortcut
EXPECTED RESULT
A new tab opens
