I tried it and the same behaviour I described still happens. Ideally there would be an option in the Configure Krita>General>Tools that lets one switch to CTRL for alternate invocation of the move tool - which is the behaviour in every other program I've tried so far (CSP, Photoshop, Sai, Paint).
