SUMMARY
something about how krita copies selection is, for the lack of a better word,
broken;
i cannot paste selections i copied into gimp. in addition, when pasting
selections i copied/copy-merged from krita, into discord, while on firefox, the
image which i pasted comes out mangled; a black line of pixels on the top of
the image, and a few columns of pixels are wrapped from the left side of the
image to the right
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. select a part of an image
2. copy it
3a. attempt pasting into gimp
3b. attempt pasting into discord on firefox
OBSERVED RESULT
gimp does not recognize any image data being on the clipboard.
on firefox the pasted image has a black pixel line on top, and pixels from the
left wrapped to the right
