The originally described behavior now doesn't apply fully, but there's still an
issue: if I try to minimize an application with a subwindow that has a minimize
button of its own but which does not produce an additional task manager entry,
then the **main** window will be minimized but **not** the sub-window (which
cannot be minimized from the task manager since it has no entry there).
