This was definitely not intentional and I had problems seeing the icons while I
had no issues whatsoever on my laptop screen. However, I deleted and created a
new panel which fixed the issue somehow (see new screenshot. Top fixed and
bottom how it was yesterday). Also I updated to the newest point release of
breeze so that could also have fixed it. If I know how to recreate the issue I
will submit a new bug report. For now this seems to be fixed for me. Thanks
