With either the rectangular or elliptical selection tool chosen, the "Tool
Options" (default at top right of the window) has a section named "Size". This
is intended to manage the size of the user's next selection, however the text
boxes and buttons can be misintepreted to be used to edit the current selection
already on the canvas.
