Do you write the tags in the images? > > Maik Hi Maik, Metadata is saved to the database which is SQLite I started a new database and added just 5 images and a single tag and the issue did not occur. I then added all of my previous tags and the issue returned, maybe it only occurs if you have a significant number of tags. I'm not sure how many there are perhaps over 1000, I can't find a counter anywhere.
