Can confirm on kubuntu 20.04 too. Regression since beta2, probably a release
blocker.
The bug happens for both "copy" and "cut" actions, only for whole layers -
copying selection of selected pixels seems unaffected.
Delay takes 5 seconds regardless of layer size.
Leaving the version as "unspecified" as there is no beta3 enabled yet.
