Ian, not being able to load or save projects is a grave issue. However, this
appears to me to be a downstream distro and packaging issue. Using recent git
master I cannot reproduce, but then I'm on Kubuntu 16.04. Thus, I would like
you to search/ask the Kdenlive and Manjaro forums for help, and maybe file a
bug report with your Manjaro packaging of Kdenlive. I would thus also ask you
to be so kind as to close this bug report, unless you have good reason as to
this being a genuine Kdenlive bug and not a packaging issue. Thank you very
