Let's use this bug report to track the issue displaying the context menu when so many files are selected. Does the same thing happen if you select a gigantic number of files on the desktop and right-click? Or navigate to the folder with a gigantic number of files in the open/save dialog and do it there? If it happens everywhere, the issue is probably in KIO.
