STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. On Arch 5.15.2-zen1-1-zen, upgrade plasma do 5.23.3-1
2. Reboot
3. Login (not via SDDM) and run "XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland dbus-run-session
startplasma-wayland"
OBSERVED RESULT
Plasma displays splash screen, but it takes much longer than usual to get to
desktop. After this, behavior varies...
Sometimes, it will not even render wallpaper, it's blank (without rendering
contents of .Desktop folder). Desktop panels are rendered for some time, but
without text. Running system settings will open settings, but will render only
some text, will not render some images and often causes cursor to freeze. For
example it will render sidebar, but not content or render content, but not
sidebar and entering to Fonts section will cause System settings to crash.
Other applications (konsole, chromium, vscode, ...) seem to work as desired.
Sometimes, it will render everything as expected, but after some time the
session completely crashes with core dump.
Application often freeze a lot for couple of seconds, especially if there is
something to render, like opening a new text file in VSCode.
