SUMMARY
Almost every modern IDE has an option to set up a program workspace/project
through a wizard. As Kate is not a very common IDE, I was baffled trying to
create a new C project. After reading the documentation, it became clear to me,
Kate needs manual intervention to create a project which is not user-friendly
at all. For veteran developers this might be a no-brainer but for newbie like
me, I would just use it as text editor and not look at it as IDE anymore which
is such a lost potential. Kate needs to be user-friendly, and some blogs about
how to use it will change its user base by a lot.
