            Bug ID: 444847
Summary: Battery health jumps all over the place.
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.23.2
          Platform: Other
                OS: Other
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Battery Monitor
          Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de
          Reporter: yiz...@kulodgei.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

In the one month I have been using KDE Plasma 5 and occasionally I hover over
my battery system tray icon. The battery health % keeps jumping all over the
place. I have seen the following in roughly this order:
100%
98%
99%
96%
100%
98%
100%
97%
99%
100%

Can the algorithm for this be looked at and improved if possible?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Buy a new laptop and install KDE Plasma minimal
2. Hover over the battery system tray icon and note the battery health %
3. Use your computer as you would for a couple days
4. Hover over the battery system tray icon and note the battery health %

OBSERVED RESULT
Not guaranteed but the health will probably say a number between 95% and 100%.

EXPECTED RESULT
Battery health should be accurate. It should not be possible for the battery to
lose up to 5% of battery health in the matter of a few days when it is only
used a couple hours a day. At which point the laptop battery would be dead
within the span of a month or two. Let alone for the battery health to improve
itself.
