            Bug ID: 444393
Summary: Files from vault generate shortcuts in non-encrypted
                    folders
           Product: Plasma Vault
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: ivan.cu...@kde.org
          Reporter: david.cortes.riv...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I have files in an encrypted vault and I click those files to open them with
some app, they will generate shortcuts in the "recently used" history and in
the right-click menus of pinned icons, which should not happen for
password-protected files in a vault.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a vault and put files in there.
2. Install the classic applications launcher which used to be the default in
KDE 5.21 or so but which has been removed, which has a tab "History" that other
launchers might lack.
3. Pin icons to the task manager for the default application(s) that are
configured to open some file(s) in the vault.
4. Unlock the vault, start clicking files, then close everything and lock the
vault.
5. Right-click the pinned icons which opened files from the vault, and check
the "History" tab in the applications launcher.

OBSERVED RESULT
Shortcuts for the vault files are generated in the history and right-click
menus, and shown even when the vault is locked.

EXPECTED RESULT
Shortcuts to vault files should not be created in non-password-protected user
folders, and should not show up anywhere elsewhere unless the vault is
unlocked.
