The following code snippet:
#include <unistd.h>
#include <sys/types.h>
#include <pwd.h>
int main()
{
struct passwd *pw = getpwuid(getuid());
}
generates the following error message:

Valgrind has been installed from macports, and the code snippet has been
compiled simply as
