            Bug ID: 366114
           Summary: Cursor/pen vanishes from screen
           Product: krita
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: usability
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: nadja.van.landeg...@gmail.com

When ever I try to draw, my cursor/pen vanishes from the drawing canvas. It
stays on the screen as long as I have no drawing canvas. When I make a few
random strokes, nothing comes up. I tried to close and restart Krita, and then
the random strokes came up, as he asked if I didn't want to save my canvas. I
clicked "no" and restarted krita to try again, but every time I have the same
result.

It doesn't matter if I use my pen or my mouse - they both vanish.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. double click the Krita desk icon
2. Krita starts, I open a new canvas
3. cursor/pen vanishes as soon as I hover over the drawing canvas. If I move
off the drawing canvas, I can see my cursor again.

Actual Results:
I make a few random strokes that don't show up on the drawing canvas. When I
attempt to close Krita, they show up. They also appear to show up when I switch
to a different program, and switch back to Krita.

Expected Results:
shown my cursor and my drawing strokes from the start.

I use a intuos pro medium PTH-651 and Windows 10. I'm using Krita version 3.
I've never had this problem on my computer (currently using a laptop since my
computer's motherboard needs to be replaced) and my my intuos works fine (with
pressure sensitivity) in other drawing programs. I only recently switched to
laptop so everything is newly installed and Krita has never functioned
differently on this laptop. I use the same set-up on my computer and I never
had issues with Krita on my computer.
