SUMMARY
First off, hope I'm posting to the correct component.
Currently on an arch-based distro (Garuda Dragonized - Harpy Eagle) running KDE
Plasma desktop. On a recent update, the wallpaper setting for "slideshow" was
toggled ON and saved, but did not persist on reboot. Secondarily, after turning
on slideshow mode, the box on the right that used to display all the images of
all the folders added with wallpapers (on the left) is now completely blank -
and therefore, are unable to (de)select which of the images you want included
in the slideshow for the wallpaper.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right-click on KDE desktop, select "Configure Desktop and Wallpaper..."
2. Add tick to "slideshow" toggle box.
3. Left box with directory listing appears, but no thumbnail images of all
recursive directories/images appears in the box on the right.
4. After reboot, slideshow setting does not persist, and needs to be manually
toggled again.
OBSERVED RESULT
Layout changes to show directory list on the left, and thumbnail images of
wallpapers on the right, but no thumbnails appear and no ability to deselect or
select specific images to the slideshow.
After reboot, slideshow toggled OFF.
EXPECTED RESULT
Grid view of all discovered images within the nested path of the added folders
to the list.
After reboot, expect slideshow toggle to persist ON.
