I've gone to apps.kde.org/kdenlive, clicked "Install on Linux", that prompted
whether to open with "Discover" or "Add/remove software", I picked the first,
installed it and clicked "Launch". I got a KDEnlive instance with default
settings and the bug does not occur in there. But now I can't figure out where
that was actually installed, so I can't create a shortcut to it. And even if I
right-click on the entry in the window list and click "Start new instance", I
get my old version back. How do I figure out where this new installation is
located?
