Everything else (including kwin) mostly work fine (ignoring the session crashing consistently after changing literally any setting but first things first). Evidently plasmashell renders stuff on its own regardless of kwin and it does so differently than kwin. That is the cause of this bug. Maybe some Qt dependency used for rendering is different between plasmashell and kwin.
