--- Comment #5 from unsuspicious.fakename+kdeb...@gmail.com --- The crashes and freezes are unrelated issues (probably both upstream: crashes could be kernel, freezes nvidia; don't know yet) and as far as I can tell they aren't the (root / only) cause of the window position problem, they just lead to it happen much more frequently.
