I think this is similar/the same issue as bug 430461.
@Oleg You wrote "KDE Plasma", but the name of your Ubuntu is xUbuntu, so are
you using Plasma or XFCE? For Xfce, can you please check the bug report I
mentioned and try to do the same action (call Krita from console with some
random, incorrect file name)? It's probably the same issue in both reports.
