I'm observing the same behaviour with high cpu usage from xembedsniproxy. In my
case I'm pretty sure it comes in combination with evolution-alarm-notify.

I first observed the high cpu after switching from Thunderbird to Evolution.
After some try and error with starting and stopping of evolution at all i found
out that killing xembedsniproxy OR evolution-alarm-notify instantly stops the
high cpu usage.

I'm also using firefox and keepassxc, but that combination never made problems
until using evolution-mail.

Also running with nvidia (RTX 2060) and two monitors (Notebook build-in HD and
external WQHD).

Compositing was turned off so far.
