Thanks. It still doesn’t say which of these ones you use, but on Kubuntu you
would need to explicitely enable Wayland. Therefore, you probably use X11.
I linked a similar bug report.
Maybe you can try my idea for a workaround: Right-click the Okular presentation
window’s item in the task manager / panel, and toggle the More Actions ->
Fullscreen option.
