            Bug ID: 440000
Summary: Add software brightness control to Night Color like
                    redshift (with xrandr --brightness)
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.22.3
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_nightcolor
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: phosph0phyll...@yandex.com
                CC: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
One of the nicer features of Redshift is its ability to set the "brightness" in
software, thus allowing the "brightness" to go lower than what is possible with
the current "Battery and Brightness" plasmoid.

Example:
1. Set display brightness to 0% with the "Battery and Brightness" plasmoid.
2. exectute xrandr --output "name of your display" --brightness 0.5
3. Display becomes dimmer
