Bug ID: 439228 Summary: PC and phone cannot see each other - previously working Product: kdeconnect Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: adr...@fowle.co.uk Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Previously working - stopped connecting without obvious reason. Happened 4 weeks or so ago, perhaps longer STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open PC application and click "Find devices" 2. Open Phone app and click "Pair new device" 3. Repeat both OBSERVED RESULT The PC displays "No devices found" and the phone displays "No devices" EXPECTED RESULT Mutual visibility allowing connection SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.22.1 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION kdeconnect-kde version 21.04.2-2.1 in OpenSuse Tumbleweed with all current updates, Dell XPS 13 laptop Kernel 5.12.2-1-default (64 bit) Android version 1.17.0 on Oneplus 6T with all current updates I have previously used KDE Connect extensively and without problem. Not aware that I have changed anything and now not working. Since then I have re-installed both PC operating system and phone factory reset - still not working. My wife's phone and PC have also stopped connecting and she doesn't ever mess with hers. Also tried her phone with my PC etc. I keep all the machines up to date so a change in version may be responsible. I have tried turning off firewall on PC and setting the KDE protocols up to be allowed through it. NB - 1) The previous similar error reports are old and do not apply to my recent issue I think 2) I have searched for a troubleshooting guide for connections and not found one. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
