SUMMARY
After setting up the top edge of the Touch Screen to invoke the application
dashboard, I removed the panel altogether (having installed Latte Tasks). It
appears that removing the panel means that I can no longer invoke the
application launcher or dashboard. If I reinstall the panel, then the
touchscreen gesture from the top edge will successfully invoke the apps
dashboard.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set any touch screen edge to invoke apps launcher or dashboard.
2. Remove panel.
3. Attempt to invoke apps from screen edge.
OBSERVED RESULT
Unable to launch apps launcher or dashboard (as this functionality appears to
depend on the panel).
